On Saturday, November 5, 2015, we had our out of town group run at the Revel Canyon City Marathon in Azusa, CA. This was a beautiful Angeles National Forest canyon course. The first 13 miles was run-able downhills. From mile 13 through mile 23, it was a lot of rolling hills. The last one mile to finish line was also an incline mile. Overall, this was a fully-supported event and fast course for PR! As for your BQ finish time, you really have to train hard for the uphills section of the course and save enough energy to pull you through the last one mile to finish line. I was shooting for my BQ at 3:25 finish time and I ended my race with 3:38. I will come back next year!
